School Edition Terms
Last updated · By David Nelson
Version 2026-11-03. These terms apply when a CDL school, carrier, or training program uses a RigReady CDL school portal, including a free pilot.
A school administrator accepts these terms for the school inside the school portal. The accepted version, name, and date are recorded.
What you get
- A school portal for administrators and instructors
- Classes, join codes, and QR codes for students
- Student practice results from the Pre-Trip and Backing Trainers
- A school checklist you can adjust and print
Your responsibilities
- Only invite students and staff who are part of your program.
- Keep administrator and instructor logins private.
- Students must be 18 or older.
- Use RigReady as a practice aid, not as a replacement for required training or testing.
Pilots and school editions
The school pilot is free for 60 days, with no card needed. After a pilot, a school edition may continue under a written order that lists price, seats, and term. Nothing is charged without a signed order.
Student data
Student data is handled under the RigReady Data Processing Agreement and the School Privacy page. Your school controls its student records.
Ending
Paid school plans can be canceled anytime. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Partial periods are not refunded, except for billing errors, which we always fix. We delete the school's student records within 60 days after the end, or return them first if you ask.
No guarantee
RigReady CDL is provided as is. We do not guarantee that any student passes a test. Our total liability is limited to the amount the school paid in the 12 months before a claim, or 100 dollars during a free pilot.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama.
